Ok, it's high time, I created this blog right before leaving for a fantastic 5 week vacation to Uruguay. Our daughter Matilda had to know her mom's home country and her relatives down there.
Now we're back and it's January, a good month to get things started and to stay inside knitting while watching the snowflakes slowily falling though our window, this is Minnesota after all!
I'm happy because I finished a winter set for hubby Fred: scarf and hat. I was planning in completing it with a pair of mittens but Fred keeps his gloves for a maximum of 2 weeks, then they disappear and it takes way too long to finish a project for it to vanish that fast
Already casting off for the next project. A hooded scarf, let's see what happens.

- Well, this is all about knitting so I guess I should tell you about my knitting experiences. Everything started on "dia del nino" when I was 12 years old -not much of a nina anymore- and I received a pair of knitting needles and some bold yellow yarn. Our "nanny" taught me how to cast on and knit, that was the beginning of my first scarf and my love for knitting. It went on and off for a few years but I think that for the last six years I've been knitting without interruptions.
